This is Why We Need More Children’s Science Fiction

Well, okay, this isn’t the only reason why.  But this article from Gizmodo  by Andrew Liptak begins to point out a part of the role of science fiction readers and writers have in society at large.  It can have an impact on us, and on our future.

So maybe . . . just maybe there’s an opening here, a belief that Science Fiction is something worth our consideration and a part of the story of our identity.  And maybe it’s time we start growing new readers.  There’s no better place to start than children’s books!
