Call for Nominations!
I’m still relatively new to the online world of blogging, though I’ve been keeping this blog pretty lively since it’s kickoff back in February. That said, I didn’t learn until recently about The Cybils.
The Cybils Awards are in their eighth year and nominations are currently open to the public for a scant few more days! While book bloggers decide on the shortlist rounds and the final winners, the public can nominate favorite titles.
Yours truly is one the 1st round judges for the Middle Grade Speculative Fiction category so I’ve had lots of fun gearing up for what is going to be a busy few weeks of reading! But I realized I’ve forgotten to mention anything here on my blog about it!
Nominations for the public are only open until the 15th, and while we have a good many books nominated this year, there are still plenty of great titles left! If you have a favorite book that’s come out this year that fits one of the categories and hasn’t been nominated yet, consider dropping in at the Cybils website and nominating your title!
Need an idea of titles still not nominated?
Random Musing of a Bibliophile has a list of strong titles that haven’t yet been nominated
Charlotte’s Library has a number of lists with books that have yet to garner love.
Check it out and vote! Thanks!
